Furnart Ghana Ltd. was established in 1974 by two of the leading families in Ghana (Omaboe and Quarcoopome), partnering with an Italian furniture designer, Benjamino Stephani. Furnart soon became the leading furniture, joinery, and office manufacturer in Ghana, and developed an export market.

Many of the leading families in Ghana have homes and offices furnished by Furnart, and the quality of those items is so high that they are treated as heirlooms and passed on from generation to generation.

One component of the current business consists of refinishing or re-upholstering those items.Whether businesses, leading families, or government offices, everyone had to have Furnart’s products.
